Small Granny Annexe

Client Background:

Our client, based in Guildford, was in need of a space for their relative to stay in for longer periods. They wanted a solution that was not only functional but also environmentally friendly.

Project Summary:

We designed and built a small Granny Annexe for our client that included a bedroom, shower room, and an open living room/kitchen area. The client wanted a sustainable solution so, as standard in our range, the walls were fitted with our environmentally friendly wall panels, and the floor was made from real wood, which gave the Annexe a warm and welcoming feel.

Challenges:

The main challenge of this project was creating a space that was functional yet sustainable. We needed to ensure that the materials used were eco-friendly while also being durable enough to withstand long-term use.

Solution:

To meet our client’s requirements, we used our Nordic Room materials which are known for sustainability and eco-friendliness. The Annexe was constructed using environmentally friendly wall panels and a real wood floor, which not only provided a warm and comfortable feel but also ensured that the materials used were sustainable and long-lasting.
