Garden living
This client in East London had gotten planning permission to build a home in her daughters garden. She paid deposit to a company that could not build to comply with Building Controls regulations for a granny annexe. Unfortunately the company vanished as did the deposit. Nordic Wood was contacted to take over and started again from scratch with designing the sought after garden home. As our Nordic Rooms and timber framed buildings can be built to comply with the stringent regulations we made sure it was signed off with a certificate from Building Control. A 36sqm, one bedroom, open plan kitchen living was created making sure the structure had the correct insulation values and fire retardant specifications it needed to comply with regulations. An extra roof over hang and extra large decking was added as a feature.
