Many of our private clients build a garden room for extra space – since a Nordic Room is fully insulated it can be used for a variety of purposes such as:

and much much more.. This specific cabin was built as a spare room and rental cabin (for short let tenancy).
Bespoke Solutions for Garden Cabins
This client found Nordic Wood Ltd online and after establishing that we could supply the bespoke building they were looking for, work started.
Because the client had specific ideas on how they wanted the layout and internal space divided, as well as height and size, Nordic Wood were able to put a design together for the garden room, which was soon approved.
Scandinavian Quality
Our Nordic Rooms are made in a fully insulated timber frame structure with wood panels on both the inside and out. This particular Nordic Room is also fitted with a Velux window to create more light. All the doors and windows are in wood with energy glass made to the highest of quality in Denmark. Internally the ceiling and walls were finished in white wash pine panels and the floor is our standard 27mm thick solid pine floor from Sweden.

There are a lot technical facts that go into the building of the cabin, with the insulation and the construction, all of this is taken care of with the teams excellent knowledge. There is a lot of research that has gone into the timber treatments and the type of material that are used within the layers of the walls, floor and ceiling. They have their own planning officers to make sure that all goes very smoothly.
They have a team of carpenters that come to the site to construct the cabin, these men were extremely professional as well, working through all weathers to complete the cabin within the time scales promised. The team were always at hand to ask any questions, always at the end of a phone making it easy to be in constant contact.
Their relaxed approach is second to none in as much as nothing was too much trouble. We have finished our project now, and have had a visit from the Director to make sure we are happy. And indeed we are, very happy.
