A private library in the garden

This client in Esher, Surrey wanted a library for his collection of antique books. It was important that the climate inside the library was dry and stable with little humidity.

Nordic Room – low humidity as standard

The client was recommended a Nordic Room by a friend who knew about our high standard garden rooms. A Nordic Room is insulated to create a dry, low moist environment as standard. Together with our wood wall panels and wood flooring it makes a perfect environment for books.

Stretched left wall added to the Nordic Room

As we specialise in made to measure it was possible to pull out the left wall to create a more sheltered door area as the client had in mind. A Panoramic door was added so the client could open up the entire front and bring the garden and his library together.
