Nordic Room with Fire Rated Back Wall

This client wanted to maximise the garden space and position the garden room up close to the boundary fence. In order to comply with regulations we added a fire cloth inside the wall and cladded the three walls in a black cement board. This makes the wall into a complying non combustable wall and suitable to keep closer than 1 meter to any boundary. It is not visible form the front. The brief was to add an integrated shed to the structure but this was changed last minute as you can see from the drawing vs picture.

Internally this Nordic Room is finished with our environmentally friendly wall panels and a beautiful engineered flooring.
