350sqm Youth Club in Woodstock opened by Duke of Marlborough!

We are so proud to have had the Duke of Marlborough inaugurating our Youth Club in Woodstock, close to Blenheim Palace. A 350sqm Scandinavian timber framed building will be of great use to the youth in Woodstock. It’s been a dream project!
Nordic Wood was contacted 3 years ago by the members of the Youth Club committee as the last wish of a dying member was that Nordic Wood should build the new youth club. We were very honoured and started working on making this project reality. After a second planning application and lots of hard fund raising by the Committee, Nordic Wood could finally start the build in October 2017. The finished budding was inaugurated by the Duke of Marlborough as the youth club is next to his Blenheim Palace. It was a sunny happy day with lots of local people helping to celebrate. We use the traditional timber frame building method we apply to all our buildings, large or small, importing materials from Scandinavia.
