Nordic Wood have been delighted to work with Little Russets Nursery on their newly extended Cabin! The cabin sits within 6 acres of private woodland and has a natural finish in line with it’s environment.
This exciting project involved building a new timber frame cabin alongside an existing log cabin, and creating a uniform look to tie the two together. This has given the children additional room to play and learn, and there is also a W.C. for the toddlers too.

As the cabin will have small children using it, we’ve provided our expertise and advice in ensuring the building passes the relevant tests & controls – for instance, making sure the balcony railings are within a certain distance apart (so there’s no chance of the children falling through).
